Facial care means investing in the health of your skin, with regular facial care, it will not only protect it better from all unwanted external influences, but will also keep it healthy and cared for, and you will always feel satisfied.
The key to the success of healthy and well-groomed skin lies in the fact that you know your skin well, that you treat and care for it well and properly. Facial care primarily requires the selection of skin type.
Skin types are dry, oily or combination, scaly, acne-prone, blemish-prone skin… and accordingly, a facial skin care routine may sound high maintenance, but in reality, the steps for healthy facial skin are not only necessary, but also quite simple to use. Of course, with the use of various preparations for facial skin care that Medical Plants recommends, facial care will be a real pleasure.
We often wonder what we need and what we should know about a healthy facial care routine? What products should we use to keep our skin healthy and clean?
Below are some recommendations.
Like facial cleansers, moisturizer is for everyone and should be used every time you wash your face. Moisturizers prevent the skin from drying out, making it hydrated and smooth. They are most effective when applied while your skin is slightly damp.
Skin peeling is one of the treatments that removes old and dead cells from the surface layer of the skin – the epidermis. Peeling of the skin is a regeneration process, so you should be careful about its application. If the skin is healthy, it is enough to exfoliate once a week, and if it is dry, only once a month. If you have oily skin, peeling once or twice a week is enough.
It is recommended to always exfoliate in the evening! By morning, the skin will have enough time to recover, and you will start the day with a satisfied and glowing complexion.
Another optional addition to your skin care routine is a serum. Serums contain ingredients like antioxidants that support skin health in a number of ways, such as calming redness and improving texture and firmness.
The easiest way to remember when to do what's best for your skin is to think like this: Your morning skin care routine should focus on prevention and protection during the day, and your nighttime routine on cleansing and repair.
Rinsing with warm water in the morning should be sufficient before applying moisturizer and sunscreen, while at night, after all day exposure and damage, more dedicated care is recommended. As such, before bed you should wash your face with a cleanser to remove dirt and make-up, and then use toner, scrubs and serums if you choose. In any case, always finish by moisturizing to keep the skin hydrated.
